Geocache Description:

A small camoed container with room for log only. This is located on the edge of a cemetery, do not hunt for it at night or during any services. Always be respectful of the area.  I got the container as a door prize at the event at Lacey Keosauqua June of 2015, courtesy of RonTon. I told them I would hide it before I got home.  This area needs more caches.

The north one acre of the south portion of the cemetery at one time belonged to the Methodist Episcopel Church, they having purchased it from Jacob Ashcraft in Febuary, 1854. In July,1865, the Church sold this acre to Robert DeArmond. This cemetery, located in Ollie, Iowa, apparently was first known as the DeArmond and later as the Ollie Cemetery. Some persons designate the part north of the road as the DeArmond and the part south of the road as the Ollie; however Robert DeArmond at one time owned the real estate south of the road. At the present time, the cemetery usually is referred to as the Ollie Cemetery.
