Geocache Description:

Regular sized Lock & Lock hidden in a "parking lot" deep in the woods.

RUEP Map and Brochure: https://ecopreserve.rutgers.edu

I have found a variety of parking options and entrances to the preserve and I have included one of my favorite parking spots as a waypoint. Please be respectful of the neighbors when parking on this quiet street. If you choose to park on or near Rutgers Campus, check the signs and park at your own risk.

Rutgers Ecological Preserve Info:

Established in 1976, Rutgers Ecological Preserve sits mostly in Piscataway, with portions in Highland Park and Edison. Professors teach classes in the preserve and the public enjoys its scenic trails for hiking, jogging, mountain biking, birding, and nature walks.

Walking through the preserve, it's easy to see why Joyce Kilmer was moved to write his famous poem
"I think that I shall never see, a poem lovely as a tree."
