The nuts come from the Pinon Pines that are growing all around the cache. The cache can be reached from Casa Diablo Road. There are Indian grinding holes all around in a spot just a few hundred yards away. Take some time to look for them and take pictures. There are lots of great pictures to be taken of interesting rock formations and landscapes too.
When you think you have found the cache, don't go for a frontal assault. The cache is easily retrieved/rehidden if you step up and behind and lift.This is one of Camel's favorite camping sites. Please respect this place.
