Big Cat Alley
This cache is
located on the south side of Lake Wolhford. This trail does not see
much traffic, as is evident from all of the animal
tracks.
This hike is
approximately 2 miles round trip. The terrain is relatively level.
No big hills, just a nice walk through a beautiful
area.
There are BIG CATS
present. Use wilderness common sense when hiking in this
area.
Sorry, but dogs are not allowed on this
trail.
Please enjoy the terrain and this old oak forest. Keep your
eyes on the hillside.
There are deer, coyotes, bobcats, as well as mountain
lions.
How
many tracks can you make out??
You
MUST park at the Oakvale parking lot at Lake Wolhford. Do not park
near the handful of house at the end of Oakvale Rd. Please follow
all park rules.
