Geocache Description:

Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the well maintained but sometimes narrow walking tracks in this little patch of urban bushland.

Some of these walking tracks were part of the first road from Brisbane to Gympie, dating from the 1860's. There is a resident koala population. Geohubby runs in this park at dusk, and has seen or heard king parrots, kookaburras, myna birds, bell birds, pademelons, possums, goannas, and small bats. You could take a walk in daytime and enjoy the colours and textures of the trees, or go spotlighting at night and you should be able to spot both ringtail and brushtail possums.
