Welcome to the GMGA Winterization Pre-Meet and Greet! Come socialize with people, enjoy good food, and get out of the cold for a while before going out into the cold for a little. This event is a Meet and Greet held to bring people together to socialize, share geocaching stories and hopefully get people to do a little geocaching after. After the event a few new geocaches will be published and a group of geocachers will be going out to the G-Major Geo-Art and helping winterize the geocaches, however that is after the event!
I hope you can join us on this fun socializing experience, and I hope you will be able to go geocaching afterwards and help out! MAKE SURE TO BRING WINTER CLOTHES IF YOU PLAN TO GEOCACHE AFTER! HERE IS A LIST OF WHAT I RECOMMEND TO BRING:
- Pen, pencil, or sharpie
- Snow/winter Boots
- Winter coat
- Gloves
- Hat
- Extra change of clothes
- Hand warmers
- Money for food (if you plan to eat)
- Geocaching stories for the M&G
- Snow pants/snowmobile bibs
- Layered clothing
I will be placing 5 new geocaches for the event not far from the G-Major Geo-Art. If you want to learn about geocaching and are new please do join us for the Meet and greet (M&G). Here is the M&G info:
