The Ingham Conservation District is pleased to now offer Geocaching! 10 caches are hidden among the many habitats found on the ICD's beautiful 200 acre parcel.
We are kicking off this new venture in conjunction with our annual Garlic Mustard Pull.
Join us at the ICD at 9:00 am.
In case of rain the event will be rescheduled for May 16th. We will pull garlic mustard, an invasive plant that takes over valuable native habitat, until the geocache coordinates go live at 10:00 am.
We recommend wearing long sleeves, long pants and closed toe shoes. We will have work gloves available on a first come, first serve basis. Please bring your own gloves if you can.
All the garlic mustard we pull will be recorded as part of The Stewardship Network's Garlic Mustard Challenge, which tracks removal of this invasive plant statewide.
To register please visit www.inghamconservation.com.
Dogs may join you, but they must be on a leash.
Happy Hunting!
