This cache replaces an archived cache formerly known as BIG Ben. The original cache came up missing due to farmer and/or county work in the area. Those of you who have logged the former cache will find the new cache is in a slightly different location and probably will make you more visible to the nearby house. Caution will need to be taken to avoid muggles.
The cache here is meant to draw attention to one of several large erratics in the Black Hawk County area. The large granite rock is totally on PRIVATE property but is easily visible from the road. The cache itself is located in the ditch area, and so there is no reason for trespassing to sign the log. At the time of the placement there has been recent work done to dig out the ditch. Therefore, after a rain it will likely be very muddy here until such time as grass returns. You are looking for a camouflaged pill bottle.
