Geocache Description:

Just off of Hampton Road, not too far from Rt 206, is a clearing... In this clearing is a large puddle (or is it a small pond?). Well the cache is located less then 50 feet of this clearing.

I don’t like poison ivy and I don’t like ticks so I will try to hide caches in areas where there is not much exposure to either. If you park in the clearing you can easily bushwhack through trees and light underbrush and reach the cache area. Just remember that Hampton Road is a (well traveled) dirt road so vehicles with 4 or all-wheel drive are recommended.

UPDATE 09/08/03: Due to one of the logs. The puddle area is now off limits for parking. So please be respectful of the rangers (and the Pines) and find another place to park. (I imagine that you could pull over lengthwise into the entrance of the puddle - thanks).
