Hiawatha Trail short side trip - can bike in following trail or drive/hike from forest road access.
Hiawatha Trail anyone? This is our 2nd stash and our first time to ride the Hiawatha Trail, and it was a specTACular trip! (Do internet search on Hiawatha Trail for info on shuttle times, trail info, driving directions, etc.) This cache can be reached by going off the Hiawatha Trail and taking a short hike down a well worn foot path. If not biking, can drive to the parking area at the end of the forest road and hike about .3 mi of Hiawatha Trail (bring flashlight!!) to path. Maps of Hiawatha Trail available on internet also show good detail of forest service roads approachable from Avery or Wallace. Cache container is an ammo box with Geocaching sticker.
