Some stats: 122 Traditional Caches, 12 Multi-caches, 2 Event
Caches, 64 Unknown (Mystery) Caches. Since March of 2006 I have put
out at least one, and usually several, caches each month. A big
thanks to GPSFun and MainePublisher for helping make this happen!
And thanks to all of you crazy people who love to geocache even
more than I do! I have had a lot of fun hiding, but need to take a
break. I plan on trying to maintain my other caches more often and
going and finding even more, I hope! I know, I know...some of you
out there don't believe I can do it. I hear there is even a pool of
sorts on when I will break down and hide again. Can I drive down
the road and not notice a new trail? Will I be able to ignore the
next new Portland Trails sign I see?! I think I can...I think I
can...
You are looking for a full size ammo can hidden in the woods.
This may not be too winter friendly with much snow on the ground,
but still possible. It is hidden along a snowmobile trail off a
powerline trail. Parking coords listed below. It is about a 1 mile
round-trip. It is very mushy and wet right now, so wear your
waterproof boots. Hunting is allowed so wear your orange during
hunting season. The cache is filled with several locknlocks, a
bunch of film canister micros, a magnetic micro, and some pencils.
See, I mean it! So go out and hide some caches!! Have fun, be
stealthy, and Happy Cachin'!!
Congrats to D(SKG) for a tough (and wet) FTF! Glad to help with
your retrieval - future cachers: MARK YOUR CAR!!
