This cache hide will give you an opportunity to try a simple bit of
navigation using either your GPSr or a compass.
The coordinates listed for this cache take you to the front of a
small building.
From there, you need to walk 279 feet at a bearing of 356
degrees. If you have to walk around and object, be sure to
compensate. The bearing is using MAGNETIC north so you can use your
compass.
Cache is in a black ammo can.
Remember, a BEARING is a straight line from the starting point
to the object you want to reach. Your HEADING is the direction you
are traveling. They are only the same when you are walking a
straight line path to your goal.
If your GPSr has the feature, try using a PROJECTION from the
starting point. This will keep you on-course even as you walk
around the things in your path.
If you have problems making the projection, the hint contains
the actual coordinates.
