Monster Mash Cache 2 is
similar to the original Monster Mash Cache, although the location has been
changed to a different park. You
will probably recognize this park when you arrive because you may have hunted the other fine caches there.
As you can see, this cache
still has the Halloween theme even though the posting is belated, but you can
bring whatever you have, whether it's Halloween related or not. The cache is a
medium size ammo box containing a traditional Monster Mash CD and many other
Halloween type items…some are fun, some might be weird, and some are just
plain creepy!
There are several trails
that will connect to the trail that is close to the cache and you won’t have
to climb the hill to get there unless you want to, so you can just follow
the trail to the right around the hill. The cache is not far off the trail
and watch out, there will be a “guardian” there watching over it!
Obviously, this would be a fun cache to do at night, and although I believe the parks’
hours are dawn to dusk, I’ve had no problem hunting the other caches there
after dark. Hint - Make sure
you arrive and get into the woods a few minutes before dark, or you could do
like I would do and show up sometime after midnight. :-]
