We wanted to plant this one closer to the actual site but with the popularity of Anini Beach and all of the people who camp and live there, we took it a little further off site. This cache is in an area where a few local guys will go surf and sometimes people will picnic here There is a small pull off on the road going toward Anini Beach, follow your GPS to it.
If you walk out to the lava edge straight ahead of the cache and look to the left at the houses along the coast of Anini Beach, you’ll see the house used in the movie.

Note on cache maintenance: We go every year and have a friend stationed on Oahu who goes island hopping every few months and said if something happens to one of them he can go check on our caches for us. He's not a geocacher but we gave him our old Etrex while there this time so he has a way to get there as well as pictures of the cache area we took.
