Still hacking away at this puzzle and nothing seems to work! Much like an earlier frustrated cacher, I've started using logic to figure out the coords based on a couple of assumptions of what some numbers should be. If a kind-hearted cacher were to take pity on this confused mind, and drop a hint, it would surely be appreciated.

I've been trying to solve this puzzle for a while but couldn't make the numbers work. I knew I had correctly identified all but one of the characters, so now it was a matter of figuring out the next step...

At last weeks M&G, with a sly smile on her face, the CO reminded me of the cache name. The obligatory head-slap was performed shortly thereafter. As soon as I got home that night I tested my theory and sure enough things jived.

Today, Zoodamar and I had a nice short walk to the tag, which he found within a minute or two. We decided to take the car to the cache, as it was just too cold to walk even that short of a distance if we didn't have to. At ground zero, I walked right up to the cache and made the quick find.

Thanks for the great puzzle and cache!

Cache has been moved to a better location, and the redirect is now a winter-friendly tag. Cheers!

Cache will be briefly disabled for maintenance to make it winter-friendly and somewhat less exposed to muggle houses.

Found myself nearby tonight, so stopped by to have a peek. Couldn't find a thing, and no cache page either...what to do? PAF, but no answer. Now someone was watching me from the first house, so I continued the PAF ruse, citoed a bottle, then found the redirect. On to the GZ, where the house was dark, so I made a very quick grab and sign, then retreated.

Neat puzzle. It took me a while to figure it out, but once I did it all made sense. Well done.

I was a tad uncomfortable retrieving the final cache. I agree that you should consider moving it.

I'll scout out a better spot for the final - it didn't seem so exposed when I was placing it. If the evergreens are the ones I'm thinking of, they're close to a fairly unsavoury element and I would prefer not to have the cache there.

Thrid find of the day ... lady wasn't happy, I guess thats why Cron sent me to sign the log. I agree with Cron, this one won't last for long if not moved.

I had some problems to find all the characters depicted on the pictures (my tool was of no help, unfortunately), but Barbadel and I finally got them all after extensive googling. Now to make the numbers work... I'll have to say, I tried both part of the solution, but separately, so I never got it to work. By chance, Barbadel tried them together and had his Eureka moment. The deciphering only took a few minutes afterwards.

We were supposed to go at some time, but it didn't happen and I wanted to bag some caches on a nice lunch hour, so I told Coco7 this cache was on the list for this week's outing and he had to start solving it.

The redirect was quickly found, as well as the cache, but... The lady that lives right behind the cache wasn't too keen on seeing a geocache hidden there. There are lots of nice and big evergreens on the other side of the park, so why not use them? We explained what it was all about, but she was worried about the noise of people getting to it. It's not my job to argue with the muggles, so I just approved and said I would relay the concerns to the cache owner. I don't think it would be a good idea to leave the container there, unless you want it to be muggled soon.

Got it at 1905 hrs tonight in a light snowfall. I'd set Scarlett03 the task of unmasking all these 'famous' people, which she did with ease, but while I pondered what to do with their identities it was Model12 who found the key! But of course! Together we had the solution by mid-morning and I set off after supper to bag it. Both the redirect and the cache were easy finds. (Whose back windows was I looking into?)
I took the German geocoin for a little traveling.

Even if it was many years ago, I still remember the look and smile the lady in the
first picture sent my way . I replied in the same manner . Fun puzzle. Merci,

Congrats to TeamPhyrusse!!! Taoiseach did get FTF, but he had a considerable advantage since it was designed to be easy for him and hard for just about anybody else. So be proud of your hard-earned quasi-FTF!

WOOT!!!!!!

(Quasi-)FTF***!!!!!!! We are claiming a 'quasi-FTF', as we were the First to Find other than Taoiseach. He was the true FTF and snagged his B-day envelope while we snagged the prize for the FTF who isn't Taoiseach. Thanks so much for the cute travel coin. We'll put it to good use shortly. Gotta love travellers. TN (other than FTF prize) LN SL TFTC!!!

I love puzzles ... LOL ... I love the feeling of ineptitude that often comes with them.

However, today is for a good cause.

Happy B-day from the Team.
