Geocache Description:

Join me on Saturday, May 22, 2010 (Victoria Day weekend) for another mountain top picnic at the top of one of the highest mountains in Ontario.

Maple Mountain is the 18th highest mountain and has the highest rise of the highest 25 mountains in Ontario. It is 642m above sea level.

How you get here is up to you. Float Plane, helicopter, parachuting, hiking (good luck), ATV, canoeing, or any other way you desire. Or a combination of the above. It ain't easy, but once you get here, the rewards will be great.

I offer you a great view of Ontario and perhaps a once in a lifetime experience...what more could you ask for. Meet at the posted coords at around noon or any time in the afternoon. Stay as long as you want. Bring your own food and drinks for a picnic. And don't forget your camera.

See you at the top!

Also, if you are interested in joining me on the adventure to the top, let me know. I will be staying in a cabin just north of Elk Lake Friday night and then driving to Skull Lake Saturday morning where we will ATV as far as we can and then do a 3.5km bushwack to the summit and follow the remainder of the trail to the top of Maple Mountain. Then return to the cabin Saturday evening.
