A Mikie Macleod adventure.
You are the super sleuth Mikie Macleod the wheelchair bound Canadian/American who was called in to solve the Central Park murder. You will stroll around Central Park South questioning the suspects to determine who, what, and where of this ghastly murder. The walk is between 3 and 4 miles, depending on the route you choose. Plan on 2 ½ to 3 hours to complete this tour of Central Park’s “Hollywood landmarks”. But remember, this is a game, there are winners and non-winners, so please, do not blame me if you get fired (while standing in the shadow of Donald Trump’s building) and receive nothing for your effort. Interesting characters, historic locations, and some fresh air makes this little game suitable for ages 18 and up (Language-PG13, think Mel Brooks). So download the cartridge to your Wherigo device and take the challenge. The posted coordinates are the start of the adventure.
The cartridge:
I took out the auto saves because they seemed to give the Oregon some trouble. So you must save manually as you play (in case of battery failure).
Common Mistakes:
The biggest reason some get fired at the end of the game is they failed to go into one or more zones (especially the zone at strawberry fields). Make sure to go INTO every zone. In most zones you will question a suspect as you get close to the zone and then you will eliminate (or pick) one or more PP or T, AFTER you enter the zone. Just remember, once the questions start, you will need to do two things for each zone before going to the next zone.
Just tested it with the Garmin Colorado (still the best), Oregon, and the Iphone. No problems at all with the two Garmins but the IPhone 3G Gave a memory warning halfway through the game that we ignored. Other than that, it worked well until the next to last zone where the coordinates of the cache are given. I believe the final two pictures made the IPhone App crash, I would advise not playing this game with an IPhone 3G until I can edit some of the graphics out.
