Sticks 'n' Stones Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Alibags: I went to look at cache and assess damage. Seems that the kids had returned and had completely smashed the cache to bits. I retrieved all the bits and sad remnants of the contents and have decided to archive this cache. I may re-set another one nearby, after some thoughts on cammo.

Geocache Description:

Until I set this cache, somebody else's cache was the closest to my home. Cannot have that! This cache is located along a bridlepath through a thin corridor of woodland, which links up with Northchurch Common, and from there onwards to the huge cache infested area of Ashridge. It is nice to have such a mature and largely quiet area of woodland within such a short walk.

If you are driving to this cache, you can find some parking at N51º 46.247 W000º 34.633, Haynes Mead and even more parking at N51º 46.137 W000º 34.680 St. Katherine's Way.

While you are up here, on a nice day the views out over the valley to the South West can be worth a look.

The cache is a 3L tupperware stylee container with a white lid. You should be able to find it without too much diffculty, although because it is under trees the GPS signal can prove patchy.
