Painted Rock Cache Traditional Geocache

I had previously found a traditional cache at this location and loved the hike and the overlooks so when it was archived, I had to put a new cache here. The total trail length is 1.6 miles and the cache is located in the middle of the trail. One way is a little easier than the other but neither way is stroller friendly nor wheelchair friendly. At times the trail can be steep and when it has recently rained you can expect some of the trail to be slick.  Park hours are 4 AM to 10 PM. The trail sometimes comes close to the edge of the cliff so please use caution. The cache is medium size and there is room to trade items. Please make sure to sign the log as well as indicate where you are from. Permission/permit was obtained from MO Department of Conservation.
