Geocache Description:

The listed coordinates mark the path from the parking lot to the Meyer Center where we will meet in the Cherry Room for the indoor portion of this free program.

10 am - noon.

Try your hand at geocaching by learning the ins and outs of this high-tech game of hide & seek using a handheld GPS (Global Positioning System.) The program starts with a PowerPoint presentation by the naturalist in charge of geocaching in the Geauga Parks.

Active geocachers are invited to attend and give individual assistance to those who bring their GPS units. (If you have the manual, please bring it because there are many types and models of handheld GPS units.)

A few GPS units will be available to use during the program. After the introduction, the program will move outdoors to use the GPS units.
