Geocache Description:

High Falls State Park 1.8 miles East of I-75 exit 198.

The cache itself is an ammo box with a combination lock. Your doggies will love the trail. Cassie gives it a 4 paws up rating. There is no need to wander from the trail the coords are hidden very close to it. If you park at the parking coordinates listed, You will need to cross the bridge and walk on the trail in the downstream direction. The card is less than 1/2 mile away on the trail. There are closer areas you may park but you would miss the falls and the old powerhouse. You may find the coordinates to be off a little as my gps only goes 2 decimal places and not three like most. You will have the same challenge I have on all my cache finds.

The can is located near the office and available anytime it is daylight. The office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM if you would like to visit the trading post. You will have to pay a parking fee. Check the park website for current fees and hours of operation. Please thank them for allowing this cache. The people at the visitor center are not a geocachers and know very little about it so questions will go unanswered. Please be kind to them. The other cache in the park is not at the visitors center.

The park has camping, picnicking, fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, a playground, and group shelters. Check out the website.
Note: No swimming allowed on the falls. There is a swimming pool near the playground.

This would make a good travel stop if you are on I-75.
