This cache is dedicated to Team AJ.JR for their donation of this well-stocked-huge (larger than a 50 Caliber) ammo can at the Cochran Campout Event on March 19, 2005. We were the lucky winners of this can, and it has taken us this long to find an appropriate spot in which to place it.
Although the road to this site is rough, it is passable by a two wheel drive car. There are some small pull outs along the gravel road below cache site, and the climb to cache is not too hard. The elevation change is about 100 feet (depending on where you park) and the rocks can be slippery. Once you find the cache, you can climb to the top and have a nice view of Queen Valley. From the cache site there is a nice view of Whitlow Dam and the surrounding area.
Since ammo can is so big, you will find many nice items. There is an un-activated Travel Bug and a National Historic Oregon Trail Commemorative Coin in cache.
