Platsen är en rest av en varggrop. Platsen omgärdas av skog. Det är enkelt att ta sig dit med bil och det finns även en rastplats när man svänger av från Nissastigen (väg 26).
The place is the remains of a wolf pit. The place is in the forest near the road Nissanstigen (road 26). It is easy to get off the main road by car and to park.
Platsen är en rest av en varggrop. I början av 1800-talet härjade vargen som mest och varggropar grävdes. Man satte en stång i mitten med som stack upp en bit och där man exempelvis hängde upp en köttbit. Sedan täckte man gropen med ris så att vargen skulle falla ned i gropen utan möjlighet att ta sig upp.
Platsen omgärdas av skog. Det är enkelt att ta sig dit med bil och det finns även en rastplats när man svänger av från Nissastigen (väg 26).
Cashen är placerad i varggropen och består av en platscontainer med penna, anteckningsbok en liten åsna, en medalj och tupp och en höna. Trevlig plats för barn och lätt att hitta.
The place is the remains of a wolf pit. At the beginning of the 1800s ravaged the wolf in the area and wolf pits were dug. You put a rod in the middle and placed a bit meat to attract the wolf. The wolf pit was covered with hrub so that the wolf would fall into the pit hole when trying to eat the meat.
The place is in the forest near the road Nissanstigen (road 26). It is easy to get off the main road by car and to park.
The cashe is placed in the wolf pit and it contains of a plastic container with a pen, a note book, a plastic donkey, a small rabbit, a hen and a gold medal. Fun and easy to find for kids.
