Central College cross country course
Central's on-campus cross country course opened in 2004 and is the site of the season-opening Central Invitational each year.
The course can be set up for 4,000, 5,000, 6,000 and 8,000-meter races and is one of the only on-campus courses in Iowa. Central's course traverses a wide variety of terrains.
The annual Central Dutch Invitational in early September also includes high school boys and girls events in addition to college men's and women's races.course finish line
Central's course has also served as the site of the Iowa Conference championship meet and since 2006 has played host to two Iowa high school district championship meets.
