Turopoljske ljepotice, drvene kapelice, jedinstvene su u svijetu po načinu gradnje i po svojoj ljepoti. Njihovo postojanje seže još u rani srednji vijek, no većina sačuvanih datira iz 17. stoljeća. Gradili su ih palirski i tesarski majstori i njihove družbe od hrastovih greda, većinom iz Turopoljskog luga. Krovovi su prekriveni hrastovim pločicama (šindrom). Na širem području koje obuhvaća i Pokuplje i Posavinu do danas je sačuvano više tih kapelica. Beautiful turopolje wooden chapels, unique in the world for construction and for its beauty. Their existence dates back to the early Middle Ages, but most preserved dating from the 17th century. Sadašnja je kapela, na mjestu prve kapele iz druge polovine 17. st., sagrađena 1888. g., a posvećena je 1889. g. Svojim izgledom i specifičnim načinom gradnje «na žale» razlikuje se od domaćeg tradicionalnog načina gradnje. Unutrašnje stijene obložene su daskama višebojno oslikanim ornamentikom geometrijskih i stiliziranih vegetabilnih motiva koji podsjećaju na motive s narodne nošnje. Nacrt kapele izradio je dr. Hermann Bollé, a gradila ju je družina različitih majstora iz Štajerske, Mađarske, Njemačke i Hrvatske.
