Geocache Description:

We have often driven past this spot with its piles of trash. It seems this area is never cleaned, and litter just accumulates more and more. It took the placement of a new cache to realize just how badly the area needs help.

 

We decided, in the spirit of Earth Day, we would clean up the area more than just the bit of CITO individual cachers could do while grabbing the cache on site.

 

And why not get the 2015 CITO souvenir at the same time?

 

The CITO event will be between 3PM and 5PM, Sunday, April 26, 2015.

 

We will be cleaning the entire area as much as possible -- along both sides of the fence and all around the Park and Ride area.

We will provide trash bags and water; however you will probably want to bring gloves and any other equipment you may wish to use. It is always good to wear a reflective or neon-colored vest too.

This event will continue as planned, RAIN or SHINE... but maybe not during thunderstorms. Keep an eye on the event page for any updates!

As always, suggestions are always welcome and we hope to make this a fun event. Unless we all get super grubby, afterwards maybe we can all go to the classic diner just one exit east!

 

Please post a "will attend" log as soon as possible so we may prepare in advance.
