This is just one of the many sayings that Korey's dad used to
tell her while she was growing up. She affectionately calls
these sayings, "dadisms."
This easy multi will take you on a
leisurely stroll through the adorable town of Medford. There are
only three legs to this multi; meaning that the third location you
visit will have the container/logbook.
This multi will emphasize how useful the
phrase "Math is fun, numbers are your friends" can be. This cache
will beg you to use your powers of observation, and a smidgeon of
your puzzler skills...but it certainly is NOT meant to stump
anyone, even those cachers who avoid puzzles! It would probably be
helpful to bring this page and a pen (or pencil if you prefer!) to
jot any notes, or do any required calculations. Conveniently, that
same pen/pencil can be used to sign the logbook at the end! WOW!
Now on to the "fun"...

First stage: Go to the posted
coordinates where "Math is Fun." There you will find a two digit
number. (This may seem cryptic if you are sitting at home, but when
you get there, you will see what we mean...trust us!!)
Some simple math using that number will
give you coordinates to the second stage. We will even confine the
math to subtraction because a wise man once said that "less is
more"!!

The west portion of the coordinates for
the second stage is:
74 YY.YYY
YY.YYY = Q - 8.577
See? Now, wasn't that math fun? (Go ahead,
don't be shy and jump with glee!!) On to Stage Two...
Second Stage: At the coordinates you
will find out how to make "numbers your friends". They will lead
you to the third and final stage. To make it even easier on you (no
public math...whew!!) we will just GIVE you the final coordinates!
