Project Goose Food Blitz Traditional Cache
onecrazycanadian: Hi,
This cache has been in need of maintenance for well over a month. Due to the lack of response toward the needed maintenance I am archiving the cache. If you do happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will unarchive it once the issue is resolved.
Thanks!

This cache is located in the Linden Woods Park. The park is a summer home for many Canadian geese, and a few ducks, during the summer. You may even see goslings in late May and into June.
This park serves many purposes. It is a green space for the community and has a man-made lake that serves as a stormwater retention basin. It also has two playgrounds, on either end of the park, for the community schools.
During lunch hour on weekdays this park is a walking destination for the nearby office workers. As well, waterfowl can also be seen walking around in the park. However, you have to watch where you step because of all the natural fertilizer left by the geese. Thus, the name of the cache.
The problem was to find a hiding place. Since this is a relatively new park there is not sufficient vegetation to hide a cached in. And judging from the vandalism, anything that can be destroyed would be in danger. So, it took me quite a while to come up with a good location.
This cache was created to add to the number of QUALITY caches hidden in Manitoba. It is an official BLITZ cache for the May Madness event. In this case, Location, Location, Location is the key.
