This cache is in the wonderful woods of Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park. It's easy to find at the halfway mark on a four-mile hike.
Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park is 15 miles north of midtown Memphis. Go north on North Watkins until it dead-ends. Turn left and drive to the first stop sign. Turn right and go 0.7 miles to the park entrance on the left. Go to the Woodland Trail parking area, near the old museum. Start hiking!
You will hike two miles out to the cache then two miles back to the parking lot, so bring a backpack with water and snacks. Terrain is very hilly and may be too much for young kids.
The cache is a 5x5-inch tupperware container packed with little goodies: a keychain light, matchbox cars, a squishy fish, a compass, etc.
