The Sixth Street Viaduct is an elevated
four-lane
road. Built in 1932, its span is 3500 feet and is 46 feet
wide. The
east side of the bridge is Whittier Boulevard. Once the
bridge crossed the
Los Angeles River, it is named Sixth Street.
The Sixth Street Bridge is a popular
filming
location.
Check the last chain-link fence post before the large pillar at the
northeast side of the bridge.

December 20, 2009 by BoydChicks (10960 found) Ice Skated and ate at the two downtown events. Couldn't pass up a few caches before and after the events. Flipped on the flashers and made quick work of this one on a Sunday morning. Glad it wasn't rush hour. Thanks for the hide.
