Tanks For The Nano – French Island Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

laxbobber: Unfortunately these caches do not meet the rules because they are keyword caches. Sadly, I don’t have the time to maintain a nano-sized logbook – especially when they are spread so many miles apart.

I will be picking up the containers over the next few days.

Tanks for the memories.

Geocache Description:

This is a nanocache in the public lot of the American Legion Post 417. It is not a park & grab rather a park & hunt! You can park right next to the cache location so walking isn't an issue. Since this is a nano it could be VERY difficult to find!

Please do not climb on these tanks. All of the "tanks for the nano" caches can be found with both feet on the ground.

The container is a tiny (7/16" tall by 5/16" wide) magnetic nano cache container with a strip of paper inside. Bring your own writing instrument!

This cache is hidden somewhere on an M60 A3 Tank. For details on this type of tank visit the Army Technology site

This tank was dedicated to Homer Hall Jr. – Post 417 By the US Government and Wisconsin Army National Guard in 1994.

Visit the American Legion site for more information about the American Legion (visit link) organization.

Updated 12/23/2006: I stopped by today and changed this cache to have a "keyword" in it instead of a log. To get credit for the find, just send me a message (like virtual caches work). Happy hunting!
