dubord207: The cache container is a Pelican case and it is indestructible and impervious to moisture if properly closed. You can drive over one of these with your truck and they won't break! It is free for the taking to the next cacher as I'm unable to deal with wet logs at this time as Di and I are dealing with late stage cancer with her son. Sorry that today's cachers don't take the time to put a spare log or two in their pockets when they cache.

Pelican container on side of road
This should be an easy find. There are No Trespassing signs on both
sides of the road, away from the road, but the road is and always
has been public. Please stay off the private property as you enjoy
your hike! If you've never seen a Pelican case, these are the
Cadillac's of cache containers. They are indestructable and always
dry. In the winter this one will be findable with the aid of a
pokey stick and you will not damage it poking around looking for
it. There's a September 2008 Halloween geocoin that needs to be
activated and sent along for the FTF! Congratulations to shuman
