Geocache Description:

This cache is located on a public hiking trail in the upland woods area near the Cranberry Bog. The container is a small Lock & Lock Container about 6" x 8" in size. The cache is located a short distance just off the main trail.

This cache is located just off of Bog Road near Tannersville. There is a very small pulloff along side the road that is just big enough for only 1 or 2 cars. There is a wooden sign on a tree marked "Fernridge Trail". The parking coordinates for the pulloff are: N 41° 02.708’ and W 075° 15.246'.

If you have time after finding the cache, you can continue along the trail, it completes a loop about a half-mile long. Although you won't find many cranberries on this particular trail, you might see several species of wildlife here, including bears, porcupines, bobcats, mink, and snowshoe hares.
