This 2-part cache is located along the towpath next to the Washington Crossing Park - PA side. Good bike trail, or walk for the dog.
The original Kitty Cache was destroyed -- it was under a tree that was chopped up and crushed it, leaving little trace after they cleaned up. The 2nd Kitty Cache was relocated slightly and survived for several years, but eventually it was stolen. The 3rd Kitty Cache has been relocated about 100 ft from the original location and hopefully it will do ok in its new spot. Naturally, the puzzle has been updated slightly to reflect the new coordinates. This cache is a two part multi cache. The coordinates given above lead to a cement marker with a number on it. The final cache is a regular sized lock 'n lock containing the usual trinkets. A good parking spot is right at the entrance to the PA Washington Crossing Park off Route 532 (aka General Washington Memorial Blvd.) by the lake. From there you can continue to the final on foot (about .5 mile for a 1.25 mile round trip, or you can head back to the car and park a little bit closer. At the first stage you will find a two digit number. Call the first digit A and the second digit B. The final cache is located at: N 40 17.(B + 1) (B - 3) (B - 1) W 74 52.(B) (AB / 3) (A x 3.14159 x B x 0) That last digit is a doozie. This is our first attempt at placing a cache. Hope you like it. The 2nd container was started with 3 tinsel balls, pink mouse, fur mouse, feather toy, cat collar (lupine), highlighter, takeout for two, 'off' towlettes, xtra zip lock bag, planet dog mouse, troll, and the Opie Travel Kitty. This is Opie's first cache.
