This cache has been archived.

Teuchters: Due to the magnet not working, and also that cachers keep moving it from the posted (and spoiler indicated) coordinates so others cannot find it, this cache is now archived.

Geocache Description:

Designed by Sir John Fowler, around 1860 to 1870. He is better known as the designer of the world famous Forth Rail Bridge.

A handsome lenticular-truss bridge of wrought-iron construction, with the wooden deck suspended from the truss by lattice girders. The abutments extend upwards to form semicircular corbelled piers, which support the ends of the trusses. Unique in Scotland.

Unlike its more famous relative, this bridge doesn't look like it has been repainted recently.

The bridge is immediately off a very busy road where cars travel at high speed. Take care please when crossing from the car park immediately opposite which can be used for the "Gazing in Wonder at Lael" cache.

The cache, if replaced properly, cannot be seen from the bridge and has to be located by feel alone. Take your own pen / pencil.

The hint is a definite spoiler - it may be wise to use it however.

NOTE!!!! This cache is definitely in place, although the magnet has come off the log book holder. No more photo logs please after today (7th August 2012)
