The terrain is easy but it is about a 1/2 mile hike uphill so I gave it a 2. The TOPO's show this as Birch Mtn. but the locals call it Case Mtn., that is why I named it that way.
The cache is right off of a couple trails so be sure not to let any passersby see you rehiding the cache. It is pretty well hidden you might need to reach in to find it. If its a clear day you have a good view of Hartford and the nearby Massachussetts mountain ranges.
The original ammo box had a good run of 21 years before it was muggled. On 6/5/22 a new cache was placed in a small lock-n-lock.
