Geocache Description:

This mini cache is more than double the size of a 35mm film canister (Small trades.) Parking can be free and possible within short distance of cache, depending on your timing. The terrain is sidewalk, inclines and steps. This is near an entrance to the park at the point.

As of 6/17/05 I became aware that homeless people may reside very near the cache. Although this may give more significance to the cache's name for some, I must caution all not to poke around near someones belongings. The cache is located away from where anyone would be sleeping or storing their personal treasures.

According to an older friend, the bridge near the cache was nick-named The Bridge to No-where because it sat unfinished on the North-side of Pittsburgh for a long time. The pavement just ended high above where the river starts. People erroneously drove off it, committed suicide from it and mostly just wondered when it would be finished. This urban hide is trickier to locate and replace without drawing attention to yourself. Unless there is a community activity in the area you may look out of place "hanging out” in the vicinity. Nearby caches include a virtual – “Fred and Barney’s Place”, a webcam – “Northern Exposure” and two mini caches – “Elves on the Riverfront” and "Mini Tribute."
