Only accessible by small boat, canoe or kayak. We used a kayak from Burnt Store Isles, or you can access from other parts of Alligator creek. Cache is located on a small island in the middle of the creek.
Hanging from a branch so the high tide cannot get it just a few feet from the small beach area. Remember to hang it back up. Very few beaches in this area as it is all mangroves. Looks like a good area for fishing as we saw plenty of fish. Great place for a picnic, swimming or wading. Also if you feel adventurous there is a small channel through the mangroves behind the island that will take you to Rock Creek, Charlotte Harbor and back to Alligator creek if you want to do a loop route.
