I am placing this cache to commemorate
working at Telephonics for 40 years. I started in
January 1967 and have been in the same building since June of that
year. It's been a great company to work for. It has
given me the opportunity to visit many places such as China, Korea,
Spain, Cuba, Canada, the Bahamas and many locations in the United
States.
The
cache is located in a wooded area off
Brook Street and a short distance from the trail head (220 feet)
with a nice view of a pond along the way. This is a nice and
easy cache to find. There are some thorn bushes near ground zero so
use caution. The area is in serious need of a CITO. I have
left 6 trash bags in the cache for this purpose. Please post a note
when the last trash bag is taken and I will drop off
more.
The
cache is a .50 Caliber ammo box and contains various Telephonics
items that I have acquired over the years.
