Located on the ridge that runs to Villager Peak. You must be in good physical shape to hike the 3.3 miles and 2000 feet of elevation gain through loose rock and cactus.
Trailhead is at mile 31.8 0n Highway S-22.From the parking area head true north. You should be able to find the trail after a few hundred yards. With a careful eye you could follow it all the way to the summit of Villager Peak.
More details are in Jerry Schad's Afoot And Afield that will help you navigate the Villager ridge. De-con container hidden in an obvious place. Awesome views abound. Nice turn-around spot or you can continue the 3.7 more miles to the summit. Be prepared!
