V roce 1836 se tehdejsi majitel malorohozeckeho panstvi Ferdinand
Unger zacal zaobirat myslenkou na vybudovani pivovaru a tento umysl
se mu take podarilo uskutecnit o 10 let pozdeji. Roku 1850 prevzal
pivovar jeho syn Karel s vlastnictvim do roku 1909, kdy ho
odkoupila spolecnost hostinskych ze semilskeho okresu a tim byla
zalozena firma Spolecensky pivovar hostinskych s.r.o v Malem
Rohozci. Na zacatku 30. let 20. stol. se malorohozecky pivovar
radil svym vystavem do prvni dvacitky pivovaru v Ceskoslovenske
republice. Roku 1948, byl pivovar znarodnen a nasledne se stal
soucasti Vychodoceskych pivovaru Hradec Kralove. Po neuspesne
privatizaci v roce 1994 pivovar temer krachuje, prichazi vsak

Svijany ), ktery zaklada novou spolecnost Pivovar Rohozec a.s.
produkujici velmi kvalitni pivo z Ceskeho Raje.

Rohozec
Brewery belongs to the Czech smaller
breweries of very high quality.
In 1836 Ferdinand Unger, the owner of lordship Maly Rohozec, got
an idea to establish a small brewery. He worked on this idea very
hard and ten years later he brewed a first potion of beer. In 1850
Ferdinand‘ s son Karel inherited his brewery and he stayed
the owner till 1909 when he sold the brewery to a corporation of
innholders from Semily. This act meant an establishment of a new
company „Community brewery of innholders in Maly
Rohozec“. At the beginning of 30th years of the 20th century
Maly Rohozec Brewery belonged to the best 20 breweries in
Czechoslovakia according to the production. In 1948 the brewery was
confistated and then became a part of East Bohemia Breweries Hradec
Králové. After an unsuccessful privatisation in 1994 the brewery
nearly went bankrupt, fortunately a signifiant investor came

Brewery ) and a new company Rohozec Brewery Inc. arise. Since
that it produces beer of high quality from Czech Paradise.
