Geocache Description:

The first one located in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. Located out on the agriculture fields, the Army Green Ammo Can has some goodies. Terrain is brush with mesquite. So watch out for the thorny branches they sneak up on you.

This cache is located under the second tree in from the edge of the field (not the road). You have to stand on the concrete remains to see which tree I am talking about.

It is not that difficult to find. This is our first attempt at this so we thought it would be best to make #1 easy.

UPDATE JUNE 12, 2001: Paid a visit to this cache and its still in tact. When standing on the largest piece concrete remains walk (about 20 feet) to the west of that big tree and enter the grassy area (you should be facing SOUTH). There you will see that I laid out a few things pointing to the tree in question. Be careful, twisted my ankle when I stepped in a hole.
