Geocache Description:

First Aid is one of the 12 specific merit badges required of boy scouts to earn their Eagle Rank (the highest rank in boy scouts). They also need to earn a 9 further elective merit badges, put in many service hours and complete a major project, along with having completed a number of other requirements in lower ranks.
There are a number of requirements for the First Aid merit badge - if you are interested, you can view them here

I thought about placing the cache near a medical facility, but then thought about it some more and decided that a medical facility is a last resort and that 'first aid' by definition is performed anywhere that it may be required. This relieved me of having to find a specific location!

I did use what was described as a first aid container at the army surplus store. Not entirely convinced myself, but it does look as if it should be waterproof. Please be careful with the hinge and closure - they look a little fragile.

Initial contents of the cache are: hand sanitizer, hand warmers, band aids and benedryl itch relief. These are there for if you need them when out caching! If you need hand warmers or band aids, please take them, but if you need hand sanitizer or benedryl, please use but leave in cache :-) If you see that items are missing, please let me know - thanks!
