Geocache Description:

DALEY PARK & GREENBELT CITO (Cache-In Trash-Out)

Date: Saturday, August 15
Time: 10:30-11:00 am
Location: Daley Park Shelterhouse, Ames

Since we all use city parks for our hobby, we should help do our part to keep them clean. Please join us on Saturday, August 15 at 10:30 am for a Cache-In Trash-Out (CITO) of Daley Park & Greenbelt in Ames. We will meet up at the listed coordinates at 10:30 and will procede from there. We will provide garbage bags. Please bring any TOTT that you might use for picking up litter. This will probably not be a big task and we can probably get the entire park plus the greenbelt area back to the bridge cleaned up in about 30 minutes time. It looked pretty clean when we went to scope it out the other day. We will do this rain or shine. If there is lightning we will still meet-up at the shelter house for the time and wait to see if the storm passes. If not, you will still get credit for attending.

There will be an ice cream social at 1:30 at the same coordinates. Hope you can stick around for that as well!

Please come and help to keep Ames beautiful!
