How Geocaching Works
A small decon container located in an out-of-the-way corner of City Park in Iowa City. Cache is log only. Please bring a pen.
The cache is located near a high traffic area, and you will likely search unnoticed from passing muggles. This area is definitely not the most scenic part of City Park, but it does appear to attract frequent visitors. Watch your footing near ground zero. There is no need to go near the road or under the bridge.
City Park features a public outdoor swimming pool, numerous picnic areas, nice playgrounds, bocce courts, small amusement park with five different rides for smaller children, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, a scenic bike path, and an outdoor theater.
Parking is available to the west in Lower City Park or Upper City Park. Parking is not allowed along Park Road. Park hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Hunt this cache at your own risk, and most importantly, have fun!
