Geocache Description:

It's in a plastic tupperware container wrapped in black duct tape. Please take care when handling the cache so that it can stay in good condition.

A long time ago, I discovered this clown cup left mysteriously amongst my things at school. I was a little disturbed, because I had a fear of clowns, and this cup embodied some of clowns' creepier qualities. Not to mention the fact that I had no idea how it had gotten there. I didn't know what to do with it, so I just kind of... left it there. When I returned, the cup was gone. This was almost as scary as when I had discovered it there. It was like the cup had a mind of its own, but I tried to be rational and remember: it's a plastic cup. This worked for a while... until the cup returned. This time it had notes, "why don't you love me?" it said. "I want to be your friend," it said. You could say I was terrified at this point. I threw the cup in a garbage can and hoped that it would never return. And it didn't return... for a few weeks. Until one day, when I went into my closet (yes, my own closet) and discovered it sitting on one of my shelves. I panicked. I took the cup, threw it out of my window, and hoped it would just get blow away by the wind or something. Well, it didn't. Just like before it returned again and again and again and again. Finally, after many months of fear and panic, I found out it was my friends who were secretly manipulating the cup, placing it in places that would scare me and leaving notes. I was more and less terrified all at once. We began to get in arguments, disputes, about the cup, where it was, who had it, etc. etc. until I finally decided it would be better for all of us if the cup were to be destroyed. So... I ran it over with my car. It shattered into pieces, and I took the pieces, and I put them in a bag, which I sealed, and then buried. My friends were outraged that I had destroyed the cup, and demanded the pieces back. They got the pieces and attempted to glue it back together again, but some of the pieces were missing, so it remained incomplete. This was 3 years prior to the hiding of this cache, and we have now resolved all of our differences. It turns out that we were all being fed different information from a 3rd party who was manipulating us into arguments. As a way of showing that the cup is behind us, we decided to place it in this geocache so that someone else could pick it up, and take it to another cache, and then someone else will take it to another cache, over and over until it's far far away from us.
