Located on the outskirts of the Kinnickinnic State Park. No
Parking along the roadway here. Use the parking coord’s below
(lot is at the very bottom of the hill, just off the road). Since
this is considered part of the State Park, a daily or yearly park
sticker is required. From here you can walk under the bridge and
hit the trail along the Kinni. Just a short walk – matchstick
container awaits and should be accessible most times of the
year.
This is a nice little area along the Kinni that does not get
visited often. The rock wall across the river is very cool and
there is lots of wildlife around this area. In fact, as I was
placing this cache, a beaver almost walked over the top of me as he
carried a small tree down to the river. Also a good place to bring
a fly rod and do some fishing. Enjoy the area!
