The coordinates above are for the parking area. The tree canopy would throw a GPS off for the cache site.
This used to be the main bridge over Little Chautauqua Creek for Portage Hill Road. Too many people missed the curb so they put the current bridge in.To get to the bridge take South Portage St. in Westfield towards Mayville. Follow the road until you reach the first road, on your right, after East Campbell St. Turn onto the road and when the road curves back up to the main drag keep going straight. There is a tiny road that goes back. The parking area can fit about three cars if you're careful. From the parking area walk thirty paces ahead. There will be a trail down to the bridge on your right. The cache container is hidden on or around the remainder of the bridge.There is a pencil included in this one. Cache container is larger than a film container, but smaller than a freezer storage container. There only a few trade items in it.
Long pants and proper footware strongly suggested.
