Geocache Description:

A "non-traditional" micro cache, marking Temple Tube Station. Cache contains log book only, so bring a pen.

Temple Tube station, opened in 1870 by the Metropolitan District Railway, now serves the District and Circle lines of London's Underground. The station was originally named "The Temple", the name coming from the nearby "Temple Church", a late 12th century church built for and by the Knights Templar as their headquarters.
