The church has served the community in and around New Malden since its foundation as a Congregational Church on 20th April 1881 when eighteen people covenanted together.
It was opened for services on the 3rd May 1881.
In 1972 it became the United Reformed Church when it joined with the Presbyterian Church in a step towards Unity of the Christian faith.
The above co-ordinates will take you to the church. In front of the church in the grounds is a memorial that you need to look at. You will not need to enter the church grounds as what you need to see is clearly visible from the pavement.
On the memorial are two sets of dates with names underneath both sets. Ignore the dates on the first line but take a look at the dates on the 7th line underneath the name J.A. SUDBURY
